Beautiful... It's a beautiful day today her in Cali... in fact its sort of hot !! I have been putting together some more storage for my scrap room, can't wait till it's finished :) Here is a little jewelry box I made for my granddaughter.. she loves pink just like her Grammie (big smile) I got the box at Michael's, painted it cream color. I stamped the sides with "Tattered Rose" and "Worn Lipstick" ink (Ranger) then added some pretty birdcage paper (Basic Grey) to the top then I inked the whole box with "Vintage Photo" (Ranger) because it was too bright and I wanted it to look a little more vintage..

Then I made a crepe paper flower, added some pretty ribbon (Memrie Mare) a Prima flower and some glittery hearts and a keyhole (Melissa Frances) and a fancy pearl swirl (Want2Scrap)... The little girl image is from Crafty Secrets...

I'm sure she will put all of her headbands in it.. all of a sudden she loves headbands !!! I think I am going to go sit out in the back yard for a while and soak up some sun.. Hope you are having a good weekend... Jen

Wonderful Mother... Not much to talk about today. I'm off to work, it's the all day crop at Michaels today..( I know, doesn't sound much like work does it :) A few of my friends are coming and I'm really looking forward to seeing them.. I made this card for my "Wonderful Mother" I have really been missing her lately. We are only 30 minutes away, but with working full time and all of the other stuff I have to do I don't get to see her very often.. The little birds are from "Crafty Secrets", stamp is "Stampin Up" the chipboard is "Tattered Angels" and the scrunchy ribbon ( love it ) is from "Memrie Mare", check out all of her ribbon on etsy.com...

Well, have a good weekend... Jen

Mojo 135... Hi everyone, it's cloudy and rainy here today.. usually I love it but I'm ready for spring !! We will soon be planting some trees and flowers in our new yard (can't wait) so I'm ready for some good weather. I have been putting together some storage units for my scrap room but had to take a break to do the Mojo Monday card..

I used a new "Crafty Lounge" stamp set, Isn't she cute !! I will be doing a lot more with this image..

Here you can see a little sparkle on her wings, I had to add some Stickles.. they add so much to anything you put them on.. and a new Spellbinders die "labels four"and my Copics... would love any comments, let me know what you think... Enjoy the rest of your day... Jen

New Hat !!! Isn't this the cutest kid you've ever seen !!! Well, I think so :) He got a new hat with the character from "How to Train Your Dragon" on it and I told him to put it on so I could take his picture, this is how he did it and every time I tried to straighten it he would turn it around.... he thought that was very funny so that is the picture I took !! He also had on a new "Cars" shirt... he was one happy boy ! I used some Teresa Collins paper, Bazzill and various letters and a accordion fold flower ( they look a little more manly !) I covered the word "hat" & the center of the flower with Glossy accents.. looks really cute.. Hope you all are having a good week... I had today off and will be off again Thursday so I hope to get the Mojo Monday card done. I am also redoing my scrap room, will share that with you in the future when it is all done.. Enjoy ... Jen

Sunshine... I everyone, sorry I've been gone so long but sometimes life just gets in the way !! I found this cute sunflower stamp on sale and just had to have it :) I colored it with Copics and added some stickles..

Inside it says... "Hope You're having a good day... I miss you :(" I'm sending it to a friend of mine I haven't seen for a while..

Have you ever bought any of these candles ??? They are wonderful, the scent lasts FOREVER and they come in a really cute box !! this one is Tuberose..They are from France and are called "Seda France". If you ever see one, try it, you will love it.. Well, back to creating.. enjoy the rest of your day... Jen

Sunday clears away the

rust of the whole week...

Invisibles.... Love these colors !! :) I did this as a sample page to show how to use the Heidi Swapp "Invisibles".. these are so cool, you can add any color with almost any medium. I used orange and pink Cat's Eye ink & chalk.. to match her dress... Lots of flowers but not to much to take away from the page... and a little bling :)

Here is a closer pic of the swirl outline, I inked and then rubbed the surface with a paper towel.

The swirl on the picture was done on the computer, you really should try this technique..so fun !! Enjoy the rest of your day, I'm off to work.. will have some more samples to share in a couple days... Jen

Did you ever notice that when you put the

words "THE" and "IRS" together..

it spells "THEIRS?"..

Easter Pages... Hi everyone... hope you all had a good week, I sure did !! had yesterday off and got a lot done, all of the normal stuff you do on your day off and I got 2 pages done for my class at work.. I used only the Cricut and Gypsy to do the pages and I think they turned out very cute.. I used various cartridges and welded them on the Gypsy (so cool)

A little journaling doo dad !!

A cute bunny...

And lots of white dots, they add so much.. Well, have a great weekend and I will see you tomorrow..Jen

I just love their clipart ! I still can't find my Easter stamps since the move... I'm sure there out in the garage in the boxes I still have to empty.. :( Oh, well... someday ! A cute little metal tag from 7gypsies and a little safety pin from Tim Holtz.. Thanks for stopping by. Have a safe weekend !!! Jen

Happy Easter ...

Mojo 132 ........ I love this sketch.. both are very cute but I did the square one.. and also got another Easter card done in the process !! (whew) And as usual it is much cuter in person.. It's cold and rainy here today so my lighting wasn't very good.

I used a DCWV nursery paper pack because I couldn't find any Easter paper that I liked and this pack had a lot of pastel papers with Bunny's and little animals on it.. perfect !! More Prima flowers, stamp is from Stampin' Up. I am going to work on a page for my grandson, and some more Easter cards.. and I think I will also take a nap ! It's that kind of weather ... Have a great day...and Happy April Fools Day... Jen

Good Morning... Hi everyone, well, I don't have to be at work till 1:30 so I am doing some updating !! I made this Easter card over the weekend.. I have some "Crafty Secrets" images and I have been dying to use them (more Easter cards to come) . I stamped the little corner chipboard piece with my favorite green ink, but it's a little hard to see. I also put out a few decorations around the house.. we will be celebrating at my brother's this year so I didn't get ALL of my stuff out.. maybe next year when I get used to working full time and not having time to do anything else :(... Enjoy the rest of your day... Jen

A Day at The Beach.... I love, love, love this page.. I didn't at first because it really needed something in the upper right corner & then I found this little sand castle at work (Michael's) .. it fit perfect (so happy) ... Joe and his mom and dad went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and then to the beach. The color in the pictures is so good.. so blue.. I just had to scrap them ( sorry Anna ).

Hope you are all having a good Saturday, I'm off to work (would rather stay home and scrap)... I hope to get some cards made when I get home.. I have some cute Easter stuff that is waiting to be used :).. Jen

My Dog Rex... Oh... I really wish you could see this in person, it is so darn cute ! (if I do say so myself) Joe and his mom and dad went to the animal shelter and brought home a 92 lb. German Shepherd. Joe named him Rex.. like T- Rex (ahhhh !) But he couldn't get him right away because as Joe put it... " They have to cut off his tenders" before he could come home !!! It looks to me that they have become best buds already :) I used Basic Gray "Lime Rickey", Sassafrass and Bazill paper. Rex was cut out on the Cricut, Tear Drop font and I think the other letters are from Daisy D's... and a few extras from my stash.. I had today off and got to look at all of my favorite blogs.. it's been so long and they all had a ton of stuff that gave me a lot of ideas, now I just need the time to do everything I want to do.. (don't we all) Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week... Jen

All scraps of course, some clip art and I added some Copics.. and Stickles... The card says "When Irish Eyes are Smiling"

Mojo Monday 128 ... Hi everyone... I had today off and I didn't do a darn thing :) but I did finally get the Mojo card done. It was a little challenging because I wanted to do a St. Patricks Day card but I'm not very fond of the green.. I did find some cute clip art and did a little coloring with my copics... I don't have any St. Patty's stamps, I guess I will have to look for some cute ones.. I haven't gotten to my Papertrey Ink stamps yet.. not sure what I will do with them but the wheel's are turning in my little pea brain so I'm sure I will come up with something... I used all scraps and my Spellbinders...

Hope you are all having a good week and thanks for stopping by... The Michaels big grand opening is this weekend and I am really looking forward to it... I know it will be a lot of fun... See ya'all soon.. Jen

Now I'm cleaning my scrap room and switching back an forth between "Two and Half Men" and "LA Ink" ... guess I should Tivo one of them but didn't think of it in time !!

I used "Rusty Pickle" paper, rose stamp from "Inkadinkado" I didn't color it because I am awful at it.. oh, believe me I have tried... so it looked much better this way :) Flower is "Prima" the rest are leftovers from my never ending stash !!

Well, I'm back to work tomorrow... hopefully I will back this weekend with something from my new stamp set from Papertrey Ink... LOVE ( big smile ) everything from them !! check out their website... papertreyink.com. enjoy the rest of your evening... Jen

I Made It !!! Well, I made it through my first five days of full time work (I haven't worked full time in years !)... and I love it !! It's been hard, lifting and unpacking heavy boxes, I'm not a young girl anymore :) putting hundreds of pegs in the displays, but I have already made a lot of new friends, a couple of them even live around the corner from me ! When the store is finished it's going to be great.. the scrapbook section is HUGE ... I was off today so I can't wait to get there tomorrow and see what all has happened, believe me a lot gets done in one day... This is my department... love the sign !!

I did manage to get a page done today.. Alyssa couldn't wait for me to take her picture. I got her a new outfit and a pink heart. The top has sequins on it but you can't see them, so of course she loved it.. anything with sparkles on it (big smile). I used We R Memory Keepers "Heart Attack" paper and embellishments.

I hope to get the Mojo Monday card done sometime this week.. I'm off to eat dinner and watch the Olympics... have a good evening... Jen
