I love Mondays.. I know, silly me !!!

I got crafty over the weekend.. I saw something

similar to this on a blog ( don't remember which one)

but it was in a bird cage, I had this wire teacup so I

decided to use it... I made a pattern for the bird and

cut it out of foam core, covered it with "Graphic 45"

paper added a nest & some eggs.. And this is what I came

up with... It really looks cute sitting on my kitchen counter....

I decided late this afternoon

to make a birthday card for a

friend since I didn't do a darn

thing today but surf the net..

I used paper scraps, a scrap

of ribbon and stickles...

It's Friday !!! Woo Hoo !!!

Someday Im going to figure out how to take

pictures without a glare.. I've tried everything

and no luck... I will keep working on it !

This is Alyssa in my scrapbook room working

on her first page.. she loved inking the pages

but really loved using my rubber stamps, she was

very patient and was so pleased with her page of her

mom and dad..

I bought this little shelf at a thrift store today $4.00 ... I am always looking for storage & thot this would be good for my stamps.. But I really need about four more.. I have way too many stamps :)

Whew !!!! finally done !!! I worked on this book till after midnight Saturday and started again this morning.. I wanted to get it done and not have to work on it all week.. It's for a bridal shower next Saturday, sure hope the bride likes it & and hope you enjoy looking at it.

Well, after lunch with the girls yesterday,

I came home and did a page for Joseph..

I took him to the mall & of course we had to

eat lunch.. I asked him what he wanted & his

usual answer is "fries & soda" but this time

he said "taquitos & rice" so we went to Miguels

and thats what we had.. And since Im a grandma

I just happened to have my camera with me... go figure !!

I need to thank Pat for this.... she introduced me to

"Bella" stamps and now I think I have another

addiction :) I received my first three stamps

today and this is my first attempt at making a card,

{ St. Paddy's Day } SO.. thanks Pat !!!

Well... I got one page done !!! woo hoo!! Started this

on Sunday, but spent Monday and Tuesday at the

hospital with my dad.. he's home now and doing well..

Alyssa was very serious... not sure what was going through

her mind... but she did have a lot of fun. Gonna start on

Joseph's page tomorrow...

Went to my friend Pat's house

today to scrap.. ( Thanks Pat, you have

a beautiful house & lunch was D-licious ! )

And as usual I did more eating and talking

than scrapping so this is all I got done..

This was my weekend project.. I have been wanting

to scrap these pics of my parents 50th anniversary

for a while now... they just had their 67th anniversary,

so as you can see Im right on top of things !!!

I did this on 8x8 canvas with stamps and leftover stuff.

The hinges holding the two canvases together are Tim Holtz

grunge board... love that stuff.....
