Wow... Too many blogs and not enough time :) There are so many wonderful, crafty people out there, I have my favorite blogs I look at daily... but today I have been looking around at others and I have gotten so many ideas... good thing I'm going to work (Michael's) today so I can buy some supplies ( huge smile ) ... Stepped out of the box a little for this card... I cut two circles from Spellbinders "beaded circles" dies.. folded a 1/4 over each end of a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 card... then added two big brads and some twine to wrap around each one to hold card together...does that make since ??? the little tags are Spellbinders "Labels 4"... some wrinkle ribbon an a flower... so cute :) paper is Making Memories "English Gardens"... I'm off to work... enjoy your day... Jen

Finally Finished... This was supposed to be quick and easy.... it took me 4 days (I'll spare you all of the bad words I could inject here :) my sewing machine didn't want to co-operate.. I spent one day taking it apart, cleaning it and putting it back together ... the next day trying to get it to sew a simple straight line, didn't work.. the third day, took it to a professional :)... $88 dollars and 4 days later, it's finally finished... whew !!! My store manager's wife doesn't care for pink, which I absolutely love, so I decided on a leopard fleece blanket... with a hat to match :) if you look close you can see "Amelie" embroidered on the blanket... right above the hat... I wanted it a little bigger.... but that's a whole other story :( Have a great day... hugs... Jen

All of the other embellishments are K & Co. die cuts " Par Avion "... It is a beautiful day here in Cali... about 75 with a cool breeze.. hope it's not too cold where you are :) I'm going out to do some planting.. Pansy's... my favourite !! hugs... Jen

Hats... Hats... Hats.. Aren't these the cutest (sigh) OMG ( I normally don't say that but I cant help it ) I have been having a blast making these little knitted infant hats ( larger ones in process ) baby pink with a big brown polka dot bow and light purple with a tiny dot bow..
the black one I made for my store managers new 9 lb. baby (ouch) and the red was leftover from a hat I made my granddaughter. These will eventually be in my etsy shop ( I know, I know... I will have it up and running soon )
Well .. tell me what you think... have a great evening ... hugs.. Jen

Happy Saturday !!! I think this is my favorite Valentine card so far :) I have so many ideas in my little pea brain that are dying to get on paper... and this was one of them. It came to me about two in the morning and I actually remembered it when I got up ( big smile since my memory ain't what it used to be :) First I embossed the card with Sizzix "Lovely Flourish" .... The big and small heart is Spellbinders "Classic Scalloped Heart"... some crocheted embellishments with a button and some pink & white bakers twine... and I have had the tickets for a long time and finally had a chance to use them... (these will be in my etsy shop)... Well, that's it for today...I'm off to do a little blogging before work... enjoy your weekend... Jen

Valentine Book... Another book for my Etsy shop.. someday :) This was a lot of fun, I used scrap paper and embellishments... A Tim Holtz lock and key
A little paper bag envelope to keep a treasure or love note...
Some spots to add a picture or letter...
and Paris... ahhh... Paris.. city of romance...
just imagine the things you could put in this little envelope... jewelry.. letters.. tickets to Paris ... Ooh La La !!!
and the back... says "Happy Valentines Day"... but could easily be peeled off to say anything you wanted... ( honestly... that little pink stamped rectangle is there to cover up a stamping mistake .. shhh... don't tell anybody )
All five pages...
the front all glittered and ready to give to your sweetheart ... :}
I hope you have enjoyed this post... I will have more books to show you and have been working on little knitted baby hats... will share those with you soon...
That's all for now.. enjoy your evening... hugs.. Jen
