Snow Valley... We had such a good time playing in the snow.. Joe LOVED it !! he had the most fun throwing snowballs :) He kept asking if there were any bears or reindeer (funny boy) This page actually came together pretty easily. I used all scraps and leftover embellies from other projects.. like the snowflakes and little swirls..
I cut out the "Snow" with three colors, the top color is a hologram paper I had and never know what to do with it.. it worked great on this page..
I'm having a great weekend, hope all of you are too.. going to watch the Laker game !! see you tomorrow.. Jen ( go Lakers )

Finished... Well, I'm finally finished with the girls gifts.. I got the idea a while ago on a blog, but I can't remember who's blog it was, so if it was yours please forgive me.. these are calendars to add birthday's, anniversaries, etc.. I used BIG clothes pins (Making Memories) flowers (Prima) crowns (Melissa Frances) ..
I painted the pins and added some paper scraps.. and a little button..
The cards are from "Fancy Pants", I cut out the month labels on the Cricut and stamped with various month and alpha stamps.. These were a lot of fun to make .. I sure hope the "Chicas" enjoy them.. and I hope you enjoyed visiting... Jen

Hi Everyone... It is a beautiful day here in sunny California, it's about 65 here right now & that is just perfect for me.. but... the rain is coming in tonight, bummer !! Here is a little Valentines card I made last night... I'm really loving the "Crafty Secrets" line. It is very vintage and I love all of the soft colors.. I used "Anna Griffin" flowered paper, the top paper I stamped and aged with "Ranger" tea dye distress ink and I painted a piece of chipboard and glittered it with "Martha Stewart" chunky glitter.
I have almost finished the Valentines gift's for the "Scrappin' Chicas" so I will share it with you tomorrow.. Have a great day... Jen

Heart's Card... I've been having a lot of fun with these paper doilie's and crepe paper. You can do so much with them and I have had plenty of time to experiment cause it's still raining here !! The main street to get out of my housing track is flooded so it's closed. It would take forever to go another way so I am staying home and having fun creating (super big smile).. I used some paper from a dollar pack from Michael's, and the glitter heart is Melissa Frances. I bought a lot of her stuff at the scrapbook expo last week & can't wait to use more of it !
I scrunched up some white crepe paper to make a little flower, then added some glitter and a button.
Well, I'm going to work on my valentines gifts so hopefully I will have a pic to share with you tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your day... Jen

Vision's of Sugarplum's... Hi everyone, how is the weather where you are ?? It's still raining here and we have even had a few tornadoes... in California !.. go figure. They were very small one's but just enough to cause a little damage, knocked down some trees, and telephone poles, that kind of stuff.. But I did manage to get another page done.. this is Alyssa posing for me in her Christmas dress and her new haircut (very cute) I used K & Co. paper, Prima flowers, they were cream color so I inked them in burgundy and Forest green. The swirly bling is from Want2scrap, and I added some vintage lace..
Hope you are all having a good day. I really need to go to the grocery store but I think I will make a cup of hot chocolate and watch the food channel instead :) and of course do some more scrappin'..
Stay dry... Jen

Happy Tuesday... Here is another little Valentine card.. I really love all of the colors of the Valentine papers and embellishments. You can make them look really vintage or bright like this one. I used " We R Memory Keepers" paper, the round "Forever" with the angel is from "House of Three" The little embellishment is "Tattered Angels" it was brown so I painted it and added some chunky glitter. If you haven't been to House of 3 yet, you really should check it out. (there is a blinky on the left of my blog) they have the cutest stuff, some is free and the rest is at a very reasonable price. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.. Jen

Bee Mine.... Hello friends, I couldn't wait to use this Spellbinders die cut.. I just love it ! So fancy & perfect for Valentines Day cards.. The bee stamp is from Michaels dollar bin, I inked the image and used "marcasite" embossing powder like the card below.. I've found that when I do this the ink doesn't bleed into the color.. I used copics.
Some cute little flowers from the wedding dept. at ... guess where.... yes, Michaels :) and another doilie, and a pink pearl.
The big scrapbook convention is here this weekend so my New Years resolution is, well, over ! I will probably get some more Spellbinders, ink, glitter... Well, there ya go.. more stuff !!
Have a great day... Jen

Two stamps from the Michael's dollar bin, (yes I broke down and bought stamps) but everything else I already had..

I Believe... Well, so far I'm sticking to my New Years resolution.. I used everything from my stash to make this page. My granddaughter was so excited to be going to her school Christmas program, she said " I look just like a princess " and she did :) I used K & Co. paper and embellishments. A square doilie ( I cut two sides off ).
The flower was too plain so I added some glitter. And some stars from Prima.
I'm off to do the Mojo Monday card and then to Michael's for an interview... there is a new one opening up about 2 miles from my house... ( that could be very dangerous :) Enjoy the rest of your day... Jen

To My Sweetheart... I love, love, love this card & had a lot of fun making it ! I used some Anna Griffin paper, Tattered Angels chipboard, a paper doilie (is that spelled right ?) I inked the doilie & the lace trim (from Walmart) added a flower from my stash..
And put LOTS of chunky glitter on the chipboard. The "To My Sweetheart" is from Crafty Secrets. I wish you could see this card in person... so cute (big smile).. Hope you all had a good week, I sure did.. it was beautiful here this week, I sure hope it stays like this for a while (wishful thinking:)..
Have a great weekend... Jen

Mojo Monday 120... Hi everyone.. hope your week is going well. Here is my take on the Mojo Monday card for this week. I used a "Bella" stamp I got from my friend Pat for my birthday.. ( Thanks Pat, love my stamps ) some Basic Grey paper from a paper stack, ribbon from Michael's, and Pearls from Recollections.. and my Spellbinders to cut out the house picture and mat.... ( I have 11 sets of Spellbinder's dies and I want MORE :) I colored the house with Copics..
I printed the "New Address" in Print shop.. and I used a EK Success punch for the border..
It was a beautiful day here today in Cali.. 72 degrees, just perfect.. Sorry, I know a lot of you are having freezing temperatures and snow.. I think I would like that ... but only for a few days ! Well, enjoy your day & see you soon... Jen

Little Drummer Boy.. My first page of the year.. now I can't wait to do more ! We bought Joe a drum set and he loved it. ( and I'm so glad he could take it home :) This was all made with leftovers, I didn't buy a thing.. Oh, beleive me, I wanted too..
I used more of the chunky glitter (Martha Stewart) it really adds a lot.
Back to scrappin'... have a great day. Jen

Valentines Already :) I found this cute envelope templete on Lisa Johnson's blog "poppypaperie.typepad.com". I thought I'd use it for gift cards or money for the grandkids.. they are just the perfect size for little things, maybe even a love note ;) Anyway, I used some leftover valentine paper from We R Memory Keepers it's their "Heart Attack" line... very cute...
I stamped the heart.. the other embellishments are from the same "Heart Attack" line.
You can get the templete on Lisa's blog.. all you do is print it on the reverse side of your paper..
My New Year's resolution is to either use my stash of paper or give it away... maybe I will have a drawing here on the old blog.. what do you think ?? Anyone interested ?? Hope your week has started out well.. Just picked up some pictures from Christmas so Im off to do some pages.. enjoy the rest of your day.. Jen

Well, here is my grandson's frame.. this picture was taken at his 3rd birthday party & I think he was tired of "Ama Jennie" taking pictures :) but isn't he a cutie !! I got the idea for the round "flowers" on Michelle Woodersons blog, she has some great stuff !
I found some free sheet music on the web and printed it on plain paper, then crinkled it and inked it.
I added lots of buttons, some leftover metal and I had to add a little sparkle so I stickled the heart..
Leave me a comment and tell me what you think... Jen

Happy New Year !!! Wow, can you believe it... 2010 ! How the heck did that happen. It seem's like it was just yesterday we were celebrating the year 2000 and waiting for all of our computers to crash :) All of the Christmas decorations are put up, the holidays are over and now I can get back to creating... my favorite thing !! Here is a little wooden frame I bought at Michaels, I covered it with paper, sanded and inked it .. added some embellishments and bling & I think it turned out very cute.. I used Basic Grey paper and added some lace around the heart and a wooden piece from my stash. I painted it and added some heavy glitter (Martha Stewart)
A cute button I found at Wal-mart... ( love that store )
This one is for my granddaughter and I am working on one for my grandson... don't think I will be putting any glitter or fancy stuff on his :) Have a great weekend and see you soon.. Jen
