Hi Friends.. Here are a couple of pages I did for work... very fast and easy !! I used the sample sheet (see below) cause customers are always asking me "where's this paper .. where's this embellishment" and most of the time we are out of it :( so I wanted to show that you don't need to use the exact same items...
this is the "project idea" sheet...

Candle Cozies !!! Hi friends, I want to share a couple of "candle cozies" I made for Michael's ... I cut two 3" x 12" pieces of paper, glued them together leaving a small seam, then I punched both sides with a EK Success border punch.. this paper was a very heavy cardstock and not at all easy to accordion fold.. but I did manage to get it done (whew) then I punched a hole in the middle with my cropadile and ran a ribbon through. On the next cozies I make I will make sure the seam in in the back.... I don't know what I was thinkin' putting it in the front... (guess I wasn't thinkin')
On this one I used a lighter weight paper and a different, bigger, EK Success border punch...
I put this one on a black candle at work and it really looks good.. very Halloweeny !! (hehe)
And lastly, a little treat box... I plan on making a lot of these for "Trick-or-Treat" this year... I took apart a Godiva chocolate box (the dark choc covered almonds were delicious) and made a template.. I put a piece of acetate for the little window... then punched a tag and added a ribbon... cute !!!
Wow... I have been having so much fun... I'm starting to enjoy going into work in the afternoon, I get so much done in the mornings !!! bad part is that I don't get home till 10 (yuck)...
Enjoy the rest of your day... Jen

Update : this is my second post of the day (woohoo) ... I'm on a roll, just crafting like crazy !! I don't have to go to work till 5:30 ( I'm ready to relax & watch TV at 5:30.. geez) so I thot I would get a few things done.. still haven't cleaned my craft room yet, I'll do that later :)
Love this cupcake stamp from the Michael's dollar bin.. sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo... little flower stick pin is K & Co. The paper is from Scrapbook Inspirations magazine, they always include some paper.. I really like that mag.. its from England and sort of hard to find, but every once and a while you can find it at Barnes & Noble...
These are the Copics I used.. I really must get some more of these !! Hopefully I can get Michael's to start carrying them soon..
Well, I'm off to do some more crafting.. enjoy... Jen

Little Black Box.. Good morning ... it's a beautiful day here in Cali., hopefully not too hot (sigh)... anyway, I have been having a lot of fun designing samples for Michael's. This box was a VERY bright multicolor ugly box.. but now it's so cute (at least I think so :) and of course I used my grandkids pictures... I think I will ask some of the employees for pics of their families... I'm sure customers are getting tired of just seeing these two adorable kids !! the checked paper is Rusty Pickle "Scardy Cat" (other side is Halloween cat's) wooden feet & knob I painted black, frames were cut on the Cricut "Storybook" cartridge. Paper on top is T!m Holtz new paper pack "Lost & Found" . I will be using this a lot, it is very cool !! he also has another one "Vintage Shabby" in blues and pinks, cant wait to use some :) The key is also T!m Holtz and I used a little tulle and crinkle ribbon.. and the bling is from Want2Scrap...
I added some little embellie's I had in my stash.. and printed the pictures in sepia tone..
Well, what do you think ? would love to know.. I have a few more project's in the works and I will share those with you when finished.. Now... do I clean up my mess and start making another one or do I just keep working... decisions.. decisions... have a great day... Jen

Graduation !!! Well, Alyssa is officially a kindergartner now !! I can't believe she will be 5 soon... This was her graduation ceremony, she was so proud and looked sooo cute in her cap and gown :)
The background and dotted paper are "Recollections" and the yellow flower is "Bazzill".. The big chipboard letters are some I got a Joann's a hundred years ago.. they are plain and I painted them yellow... (I still have a ton, so you will be seeing a lot more of them ) ...
Have a good day ... and stay cool .... Jen

4th Of July... I hope all of you had a great 4th.. I sure did, I had my family and some neighbors over for a BBQ and swimming.. first party since we have been in the new house !! Then over to the park to watch the fireworks.. I don't think Joe saw any of them, he was too busy looking for spiders (eek). I had today off and finally got to do some pages for my 2 page layout class at work... Of course this month is " The 4th Of July ". I used Bazzill cardstock, Creative Imaginations & Basic Grey patterned paper. The stars are cut on Sizzix, 4th & 2010 was cut on the Cricut "Stand & Salute" Cartridge. I really enjoyed making the accordion fold flowers.. I guess that's what you call them ! and an EK Success punch to cut the borders...
I need to go check out my favorite blogs now.. enjoy your evening... Jen

Mojo 145... Wow.. July 1st already.. where did the time go !!! Before you know it, it will be Christmas (sorry).. I am really looking forward to fall, I think it's my favorite time of year. We are already getting in all of fall decorations at Michael's.. (love, love, love the fall colors :) everyone that comes in the store says "fall stuff already" but I love walking down the aisles looking at all of the wonderful colors... Anyway, here is the Mojo Monday sketch for this week. I really enjoyed making this card. All of the paper is from Basic Grey "Urban Prairie" collection, the bird stamp was a birthday present last year from my friend Shelley (hey, shelley) and the ribbon is some twill I dyed...
The paper the bird is stamped on is a lightly marbled paper, wish you could see it here, and I Stickles the wing and tail..
I hope you all had a great day and it wasn't too hot where you are.. it was 91 here in Cali today.. waaaay to hot for me :( so tomorrow I will be right here with the air on and hopefully get some pages done !! Thanks for stopping by... Jen
