Hi.. I'm back with my second dress form for the challenge... this was a lot of fun to make.. I used a little wooden box I got at the thrift store.. I put some Graphic 45 paper in the back of the box then stamped a chandelier ( my favorite stamp from Stampendous ) then added some fabric flowers from Joann's and some Recollections bling.. The dress form, spool and button are a Tim Holtz die. I heat embossed them 3 times with Stampendous "Pearl Garnet" powder and while they were still warm I took a big flourish stamp and stamped into them.. I love this look.. It adds so much texture.. I added some pretty lace with pearls around the box and some lace and a little flower to the dress form.. the flower is from Prima.. I also added some Pink Stickles to the dress form...
This is what the box looked like before I got my hands on it :)
Hope you are having a great week.. it has cooled down a little bit here in Cali... but I know it won't last... :( Hugs.. Jen

Hi everyone, here is a card I made for the "Piece by Piece " challenge.. This month the challenge was to transform a dress form.. this is my first time doing this challenge and it was really fun.. I have another dress form I am altering and I will share that with you when it is finished.. you can enter as many times as you want.. ( thepiecebypieceblogspot.com ) First I stamped the background with a Hero Arts stamp (Variety & Quality ) you can't see it to well but it is a really cute old fashioned ad stamp. The dress form is a Tim Holtz die. I used a Martha Stewart punch and some cute trim from Joann's... the "You Are Fabulous" stamp is from the Michael's dollar bin. I used grunge paper and fabric to cut out the dress form then added a little skirt and some inked seam binding.. and of course a little bling, pearls and a little flower.. Thanks for stopping by... hugs... Jen
