Happy Friday :) Hope everyone is safe.. I have family in El Reno, Okla where a tornado touched down this past week, luckily everyone is ok... I think i would rather have earthquakes !! Anyway, here is my card... sort of out of my comfort zone :) but i wanted to do something a little different.. it took all of my willpower to keep from adding more "stuff".. this is very plain looking to me, but that's what a lot of people like... so I gave it a try... I used DCWV "Mod Retro" paper, butterfly is old sheet music cut out with a Papertrey ink die... a small chipboard piece from my stash that I stamped... and a little bling :)
This is the inside... "May your birthday be filled with all the desires of your heart"...
Well, its Memorial day weekend and I am staying home, to many crazies out there... I have a lot of things to get done in my scrap room... cleaning (yuck), and reorganizing... and of course more card making (BIG smile)... Whatever you decide to do this weekend, stay safe and have fun !!
hugs... Jen

Hi friends... well, as hard as I tried, I could not get a good picture of this card !! Sorry it's so light, I tried :(... It's a real pretty turquoise blue and orange.. I used DCWV paper.. Butterfly is a die from Papertrey Ink. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the bottom orange paper..
The flower is fabric that I cut out with a Sizzix circle die and inked the bottom three circles with Ranger "Tea Dye" ink.. cant remember where I got the tag.. I used some alpha stamps and bling from Michael's dollar bin.. I really love the Kraft cardstock ( Bazzill )..
I'm off to watch Dancing With The Stars... hugs... Jen

Good morning... hope you all had a great weekend. It's been two years since we moved in here and we are finally getting the sprinklers done and then the grass... I can't wait !! I have all of my yard "stuff" in the side yard just waiting for me to put out.. I'm really looking forward to going to Lowes and getting all of the plants :) I will share a pic when its finished... Anyway... here are a couple of cards I made with my new Papertrey Ink stamps i got last week... On this one I used the "Tiny Tags" stamps and die from PTI and I also used Spellbinders, Tim Holtz and Martha Stewart... so fun to use multiple dies and punches, it really adds a lot of dimension to the card...
Here are the tags with a couple of sentiments.,,, aren't these the cutest !!..
On this card I used the "Postmark" stamp set from PTI... I LOVE this set... I cant wait to do some 4th of July cards :) I also used an image from K & Co... a little paper flower made with a Donna Salazar die..
Well, I'm going to see how the yard is coming along... have a good day... hugs... Jen

I'm really lovin' the purple... and the music stamp with the Spellbinders die to match... Love it !! First I used a Tim Holtz "Music Note" embossing folder on the background paper, then a Martha Stewart "Loops" punch on the checked paper.... I used Spellbinders "Labels 13" and then stamped with "Music Label" from Sparkle N Sprinkle... in Ranger "Dusty Concord" ink... I added a little sentiment.. some seam binding I inked with the same ink... butterfly is cut from a Papertrey ink die and the little button I made with my new punch from Epiphany Crafts... ..Whew !!! I have a special friend in mind for this card :) I purchased a lot of things at the Scrapbook conv. in Del Mar a few weeks ago and I am really anxious to use them... dies, paper, punches, embossing folders etc. so hopefully you will be seeing me here more often... so... I'm off to do some crafting :)... hugs... Jen

Happy Friday everyone !!! I received my order from Papertrey Ink yesterday and I couldn't wait to make a card using my new stamps and dies.. here I used the "Dress Form" die and stamp set... so dang cute :) I used my polka dot stamp with some Versamark and heat embossed it with Stampendeous "Sky Blue" powder.. I used some ink I had ( I think I got this ink in a kit years ago, there was no name on the ink pad but it matched perfectly :) to stamp the dress from and the sentiment... it says "Wishing you a Fabulous day" ( sorry for the light pic... I tried to get it darker but it didn't look good ) the fancy border is from my stash.. the felt I cut out of Papertrey wool felt, this stuff is so nice to work with... I used my Spellbinders Donna Salazar "Rose Creations" die.. I got a "Flip" video from my son for Mothers day so I will be taking a video of my completed craft room when I get a chance to share with all of you.... I really appreciate you stopping by and comments are always welcome... Have a great weekend.. big hugs... Jen

The Ladies :) Hi everyone.. sorry I've been gone for a while, I have slowly been working on my scrap room & still not feeling 100%.. that pneumonia really kicked my butt !!! Anyway, here is a card I made for my friend Elaine... I LOVED this image the minute I saw it and the sentiment is so funny... but I can't share that with you cause I will be making this card for a few of my lady friends and I don't want to ruin it when they open the card... This stamp if from Art Impressions and it is titled "Girlfriends".. I colored it with my Copics and added a little Stickles... sorry you cant see it :( I used some cute green polka dot ribbon and added two buttons in the corner... very simple cause that picture is all you need :) Hope you are all having a great week... the weather is beautiful here so I think I will go sit outside with a big glass of tea and enjoy it for a while... hugs...
