Good Morning... See... I told you that you would be seeing the round cards again !!! These are some Easter cards I made with Starform Stickers, they are just like the Peel-Offs.... Here you can sort of see the glitter... and it is so easy to color with Copics.. I embossed the purple card stock with my Cuttlebug "Polka Dot" folder... I also made some envelopes to match with the Wild Card cartridge, it also has envelope liners.. so cool :) Well, I gotta run... have a great weekend..hugs.. Jen

I hope you like round cards :) I recently bought the "Wild Card" Cricut cartridge and I LOVE IT !!! I found the round doily card and cut out a few ( a lot ) of them... The butterfly is a outline sticker from "Peel Offs" I put it on a special glitter paper and colored it with my Copics... very sparkly in person... Happy Easter stamp from dollar bin @ Michael's..
Butterfly and Fillable Frame from Papertrey Ink...
All of this card was made with leftovers I keep in a container on my desk.. things I was going to use on something else but didn't look good... but they all came together on this card...
Warning: You will be seeing this round card again :)
Have a great Friday... hugs... Jen

Paper Bag Book... I LOVE making paper bag books :) you can put so much in them.. lots of tags and little extra goodies !! I made this book with the "Early Bird" line from Cosmo Cricket.. The frame is from the Michael's dollar bin, it was brown so I painted it cream and inked it with Ranger "Vintage Photo" ink.. flower is Recollections (Michael's).. seam binding inked with "Peeled Paint".. some tulle and a little charm (Michael's) and a Tim Holtz safety pin...
inside pages one and two... some Tim Holtz, some tickets, some vintage lace....
a little envelope cut out on my Cricut "Wild Card" cartridge, some twill tape...
Page four... a doily cut in half, some tags.. and flower (Tim Holtz die) with some Prima flowers added...
These are all of the tags that go inside the pockets..
a little four fold book that will hold eight pictures...
This will hold nine pictures...
I added this drawer pull to the spine of the book... getting tired of rings and spirals :) and of course some ribbon... If you look at the first picture you can see my book is held together with a clip I painted... Silly Me.. I forgot to put the closure on first and when the book was all finished I said "Holy Crap" .... how am I going to keep the darn thing closed ??? So this will have to do.. I don't think it looks bad.. in fact I sort of like it !! What do you think ??
I'm off to make some Easter cards... enjoy your day... hugs... Jen

Easel Card... I've been wanting to do something different than just a plain card, so I started blogging and found this easel fold on Splitcoaststampers.... It looks like a normal card....
then you open it up and it folds like an easel....
when you put the sentiment in, it acts as a stop for the top card... does that make sense ??
So fun :) All of the paper I used is "Kitschy Kitchen" from Melissa Frances.. I used my Martha Stewart punches for all of the borders and my new Spellbinders "Banners Basics Two" to cut the little banner.. I think they sort of look like pockets !! The "Seed" image is Crafty Secrets.. I added some seam binding inked with Ranger "Peeled Paint"... a butterfly from Michael's dollar bin some blue and white bakers twine ( can't remember where I got it :( The "You Are Fabulous" stamp is also from Michael's dollar bin... I'm starting on some Easter cards so this easel fold just might show up again :)
Thanks for stopping by ... hugs... Jen

The Sweet Life... I had so much fun with this card.. and don't you just love the colors :) I didn't feel like stamping so I used a little tag from K & Co. that says " The Sweet Life"... I used Kraft card stock with matching envelope. The paper is K & Co. "Sweet Nectar" and I put a couple of strips of Tim Holtz "Tissue Tape"...
I used one of my Martha Stewart punches, some twine and a little pink bling ribbon slide from Queen & Co. I loved the little pompom trim, so dang cute !! (from Michaels)...
I inked some seam binding so get the color I wanted, the flower is Prima...
My paper bag book is almost finished, so I will share it with you as soon as I get the pictures taken.. hugs... Jen

Queen For A Day... Hi everyone... hope you are all having a great day ! Its cold and rainy here and I love it :) A "very" long time ago when I was little there was a game show on TV called "Queen For a Day" ( in black and white :) and my mom always watched it, so of course so did I... and that's where I got my sentiment for this card... I cut out the bird with a Szzix die and added some little leftovers for the feathers on the tail... first embossing with a Cuttlebug "Paisley" embossing folder.. I printed the sentiment on my computer and die cut it with Papertrey Ink. labels die Fillable Frames 4 and stamped it with Fillable Frames 4 stamp... The star is "Melissa Frances", crown is "Heidi Swapp" and the pearl is from the Michael's dollar bin !! Background paper is "Theresa Collins"... I think this will make a very cute birthday card for one of my girly friends :) Thanks for stopping by... hugs... Jen

TGIF.... Happy Friday everyone... this week has gone so fast !! I think is was the time change, that one hour sure makes a difference :) Anyway... here is another card I made this week using a mat pad from K & Co.. we got this in at work and of course I had to have it ! its been sitting on my desk for a few weeks and I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it so I just decided to make a card ( big surprise )... The butterfly is Papertrey Ink.. I cut it out in felt and then put the patterned paper over it and a added a little bling... I used gold "Smooch Spritz" on the tag and stamped a sentiment inside (forgot to take pic of that:( I printed the "Girly You Rock" on my printer, (Papertrey Ink has a stamp set with cute sayings including that one) then added some buttons and lined the envelope.. I have a couple of ideas for some paper bag books.. I love those, you can get so many pictures in them... so I think I will go through my MANY paper stacks and see what I can come up with.. Have a great day... hugs... Jen

Nature's Inspiration... This is for Sassy Cheryl's card challenge.. this week it is "Natures Inspiration"... I just love this little watering can and had to get it colored :) I used my Martha Stewart punch around the page for the card and Spellbinders for the image matting... and colored with my Copics.. so fun (big grin) You really can't see it but the little white button I covered with tinsel glitter in white, it really sparkles in person... some Prima pearls and dyed seam binding ribbon... and OF COURSE a digi image from "Sassy Cheryl" ( I saved the best for last !) if you haven't been to her site yet .. you really must go, but first let me tell you that you will have a hard time deciding which one you want because they are ALL cute :) I will have a few more cards to share with you in the next few days... my doctor told me to "do nothing" .. but after doing nothing for three weeks now, I'm ready to do a lot of crafting !! so I have been in my scrap room watching TV and youtube and getting a lot of ideas that I can't wait to try.... Thanks for stopping by... hugs... Jen

I bought this VW stamp (Stampavie) at the scrapbook convention in Feb and really wanted to use it... isn't it the cutest :) I colored it with Copics.. and used my new Spellbinders for all of the elements, a little butterfly and a big purple ribbon...
I sure hope all of you are feeling well and having a great week so far ... and if any of you have relatives or friends in Japan my prayers are with you.... hugs.... Jen

The paper is DCWV, gem is Jolees, chipboard is Tattered Angels, covered with Martha Stewart "Blue Topaz" glitter...
Well, I'm off today so I will be making a lot of cards and some samples for the Cricut display at work... have a great day... hugs... Jen

Ooh La La !!! I LOVE this stamp... isn't it cute :)... it's from Paper Makeup Stamps and it's called "Ooh La La". It comes with three images and seven sentiments.. I can think of so many cards to make with this stamp.... I stamp the background with a Hampton Arts "Fleurdy Stripe" stamp, the pink & black paper is from my stash, I paper pieced the image and colored the ruffles with Copics. And added a little Stickles :) pearls are from Michael's dollar bin... I made a little tulle flower and added a chipboard piece I painted, then added a button.. I covered both of them with some diamond dust... I think I will make a few of these in a lot of colors to have on hand for different occasions... (like I need more cards) .. I have three or more cards to share with you so come back tomorrow... hugs... Jen
